Our client a specialist risk management company has a requirement for a Sales Director to be based in London, reporting directly to the Global Sales Manager.

This division meets the needs of its customers by providing innovative catastrophe management solutions for property and casualty insurance underwriting, accumulation management and transfer of natural hazard and terrorism risk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- New revenue generation from existing and new clients through business development activities and strategies;
- Identifying ways to expand the business;
- Supporting and working as a team with individual Account Managers who are responsible for the daily management of existing client relationships;
- Identifying and recruiting staff as needed to help the department meets its growth objectives.

To be considered for this position, candidates will need to have:

- A degree in marketing or business administration or the equivalent combination of education and experience in a marketing/business/sales discipline;
- Significant knowledge and experience in property insurance underwriting, catastrophe management or risk management related to property and business interruption;
- Significant business development knowledge and experience, particularly with respect to property insurance, catastrophe management.
