Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior to join a Big 4 firm in their successful Reading office. The Reading office lies at the heart of the Thames Valley area, known as the UK\'s Silicon Valley. The area also encompasses the beautiful Home Counties countryside, and nearby centres such as Henley and Oxford. Reading\'s proximity to London (only 25 minutes by train) and Heathrow airport makes this an ideal residential and business environment. The firm are currently seeking ACA\'s (or equivalent) with solid auditing experience. You will hold a degree, be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and team working skills and a flexible approach when faced with new challenges. There will be an opportunity to take full responsibility across all areas of the audit and deal with senior people at clients and within the firm. We are seeking individuals with: * Strong broad ranging audit experience including planning, controlling and completing a diverse range of assignments * Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels * A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships * A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions * Possession of strong team working skills * Experience of supervising and developing junior staff * Demonstrable ability to take responsibility and use initiative. * Experience/interest in the UK pensions industry
