Job Description
Nurse companion required to support an elderly titled couple in Henley-on-Thames.
Though our clients are quite independent and do not currently require any personal care, you would be responsible for observing their health and general wellbeing and take appropriate steps if required.
Duties will also include supervision of medication as well as assisting them with everyday living tasks and from time to time escorting them to social events and appointments. We are looking for someone who will be flexible enough to also take on some practical household tasks and assist with PA/administrative duties as well.
This position could suit a well educated person with a nursing qualification who no longer wishes to practise in a busy nursing care environment.
Requirements:
€¢ Elderly care experience in a homecare setting desirable
€¢ Nursing qualification
€¢ The ability to review care plans and recognise changing needs
€¢ Professional and flexible attitude to work
€¢ Empathetic and warm personality
€¢ Well presented with excellent communication skills
€¢ Punctual and reliable
